ROK Stars, the consumer products creator, incubator and development company founded by US billionaire John Paul DeJoria and UK entrepreneur Jonathan Kendrick, has today announced the sponsorship of reigning snooker World Champion Ronnie “The Rocket” O’Sullivan.

The sponsorship of Ronnie O’Sullivan follows the appointment in January of fellow snooker legend Jimmy White MBE as a Global Brand Ambassador for ROK Stars.

Ronnie O’Sullivan is the world’s most popular snooker player, attracting huge attention wherever he plays. In a career that has spanned 20 years, Ronnie has won 4 World titles, 4 Masters Titles and 4 UK Titles and has been the world’s Number 1 player on five occasions. Ronnie has completed 11 official maximum 147 breaks and enjoys massive popularity internationally, including China and across much of Asia.

Ronnie is considered by many fans, critics and fellow professionals to be the most naturally talented player in the history of the game.

In November 2012, Ronnie O’Sullivan announced he had withdrawn from the rest of the snooker season and may never return to the sport.

“I’m very pleased to be involved with Jonathan Kendrick and ROK Stars” said Ronnie. “They’ve got some great ideas and I hope this is the start of a long term partnership. I’ve missed snooker, but the break has done me good and I’m really looking forward to playing again for me, my family and the fans.”

“We are delighted to have teamed-up with Ronnie and to have helped encourage him to defend his World Championship title as a Global Brand Ambassador for ROK Stars” said Jonathan. “Ronnie is a tremendously good bloke and is widely recognised as the most naturally talented player in the history of snooker and, along with his friend and fellow ROK Stars Ambassador, Jimmy White, we can all look forward to some great performances in the future.”
