ROK Stars ‘Marula Oil’ Creates Sustainable Employment for 4,000 Women in Africa

ROK Stars PLC, the consumer products and environmental technologies development company co-founded by John Paul DeJoria and Jonathan Kendrick, has announced its ‘Marula by John Paul Selects’ cosmetics business has already provided income for 4,000 women in Africa – and this figure is set to increase to 20,000 women within the next 2 years.

Marula by John Paul Selects has organized women’s collectives in Namibia, Swaziland and Madagascar to wild harvest marula kernels, which the company then cold-presses and converts into highly effective all-natural skincare and cosmetics for sale in the developed world.

Within the next 12 months, Marula by John Paul Selects will produce 100,000 kilograms of raw marula oil, increasing to 300,000 kilograms in 2016.
